OMG... My head is aching as I'm typing this blog entry... I hate malaysian buses man... The darn air-con doesn't work man!!! Ok let me calm down and start my blog entry...
Met up with Jarrod, Xuan, Liping, Yuan Kai, Sharon, Pangwei, Kaijie, Grace on 091004 at Woodlands MRT Station! I reached there at 9.35am in the morning so I wasn't late this time! Luckily I called Pangwei the night before to confirm the time if not I would've reached there at 10 am instead! Sharon was like totally braindead when I got there. And Grace only arrived @ 9.45am. However, the latest that day was none other than Liping!! Muahaha! When we all gathered, we went on to Macs for breakfast! *yum yum yum*
After a wonderlicious big breakfast meal we set off to Woodlands Point to buy our dinner for the night. Finally all the stuff that was needed to buy was bought and off we went to JB!
We had to change bus again at Larkin to get to Kota Tinggi and the bus took 1hr 15mins? It was nuts man... Suffering in the hot sun again at the back of this "air-con" bus... When we arrived at Kota Tinggi we had to take a cab down to the waterfalls. Sharon was like complaining how she didn't get a seat on the bus till like 20mins later... some people didn't even get to seat man!!
Finally reached the Kota Tinggi Waterfalls and guessed wat? It is a RESORT!! The 9 of us carrying rather large harvesacks trooping down to the waterfalls was a rather funny sight. You see everyone running about dripping wet with floats and here we are carrying tents trekking to this place. We were like thinking: "Hmm... imagine 40 people walking down this resort just to see this waterfall.. How embaressing!! "
Anyway, we found a track leading up and began to follow it thinking that it could lead us to the top but to our surprise, a park ranger started blowing his whistle at us. He told us that we couldn't go up there without a permit and we were like stunned. Huh? What permit? We didn't know u needed a permit to climb up a waterfall! We decided to go to the head office too see what could be done.
Turned out that we were at the wrong spot. However, we did find out that the route to the place we wanted to go was actually 500 metres back from the resort. BUT, there were sightings of tigers in the area as well as wild boars. Due to the high risk, we decided to stay put for night.
Our two options: Camp outside at the tin mines OR book a hotel and stay at the resort. Needless to say, we chose the latter.
You guys should've seen the look on all their faces when they were told that we were going to stay in the hotel that night!! Everyone's faces lit up!! And we all happily trooped to our rooms!! Kekeke! 1 room for the guys and 1 room for the gals!
Dinner was fantastic I tell you! We had Jarrod, the chef cooking for us that night! The menu for the night was: Sambal Kangkong, Fried Rice, Prawns and Tom Yam Soup!! We all gathered on the porch on our field chairs and watched Jarrod cook. Everyone was like just waiting for him to finish cooking so we could eat up!! And the best part was that when everyone gathered outside, our dear Sharon locked us out of the rooms!!! She happily closed the door without checking and BAM! All of us were locked out! But luckily all the food was out and we were ready for a feast!!
Pangwei made good rice, Jarrod made a good meal out of all the items we brought! Next time I shall learn how to cook! Wahaha! We got the main desk to open up the doors for us and quickly washed up.
After debrief, that was when all the fun began! Sharon seemed to be the entertainment of the night. All I can reveal is that ropes and lots of screaming happened that night. Must protect her wait she say I very bad...

That night, many of us kena "tau-pauked". I think I almost died under Yuan Kai! We had Jarrod on me holding me down and then Pangwei on top of him. The worst of the worst came when Yuan Kai came crashing down on top of Pangwei not once but FOUR TIMES!! My stomach was like crying out in distress!! *Pain*
We played lotsa games that night, one of which was a game which Lim Ton taught his group @ the Rainbow Falls trip the last time. Very very fun!! Wahaha!! That night the forfeits were simply disgusting!! See the photos when it's up! Superbly gross.
Had a good nite's rest on a King sized bed all by myself cuz the rest of them decided to squeeze into the girl's room! Wahaha! I actually find it weird to share a room with a girl whom I don't know very well so I went back to my own room to listen to the sweet sound of Yuan Kai's snoring!! Thankfully I brought my MD and the music drowned out the sounds! Kekeke! No worries Yuan Kai!
Took another hour long bus ride from Kota Tinggi back to Larkin and this one was an even worse bus ride. This guy next to me actually slept on my shoulder loh. And the sun was shining directly on me. The worse part is that I was sitting at the back of the bus where the engine was and it was so DARN HOT. I chose the back seat cuz of my bag...too big then bo pianz... Cuz at the back more leg space mah... In the end I wished I had sat some place else but then again it could've been worse!
Dinner @ Pastamania, Causeway Point to finish up the trip! What a wonderful way to end it cuz I was really hungry by the time we reached Causeway Point... Seafood Mania!!!
Anyway, I really enjoyed this recee trip even though it didn't turn out as expected! At least we found out something abt the place before we actually went there. Spent more money than expected but it's still fine with me! However I still feel i'm being short-changed...why ah? My money so little loh... someone owes me money!!! No hurry just pay me back when you can k?
