Woot!! Rather happy today!! Went down to the Ngee Ann track today after school at 4pm and ran 2.4km with Amos and Des. All of us improved and most importantly, I hit my target time of 9:30!! Weeeee!!! I'm just short of half a chin up to get my full marks gold hahaha!! Once I'm all ready for my ippt I'll go pia and clinch that $400!!
Right, so I guess it has been rather long since I last updated due to the fact that nothing has been "happening" so far for me to put it down on my blog!!
For those who don't already know, I've been given the appointment of Safety for the Odac Exco for this year!! The rest of the appointments are as follows, P = Louis, VP = Pangwei, Projects = Desmond, Secretary = Aveline, Logistics = Damian. Yes, yes very small hor... We're still looking for a treasurer and hopefully Kaijie will accept hee hee!! Hopefully this team is committed and we can all work with one another with as little conflict as possible. Conflict will always be evident we'll just have to keep it to a bare minimum!!
And yeah, I just went shopping yesterday and bought the rest of my new year clothes so I'm all ready for CNY already!! Will be finally meeting up with my family after like one year since I last saw them I think. Never really liked CNY cuz have to "waste" time visiting... I rather be at home slacking sighz.
Well, exams are coming up and everyone "seems" to be stressed but then again not many people are studying yet or at least you don't see them studying! I've been trying my best to study everyday after school and I'm slowly but surely getting somewhere. I just have to stop falling asleep everytime I read my sociology notes... yuck... so dry leh... read read read sure fall asleep one... fell asleep twice in the library today loh...
Nothing's much been happening lately except that true colours show after some time. Including my own of course.
It feels soo damn good to be back with my old friends again!
Well!! It's 1.10am Monday morning and I suddenly feel like blogging!! So long never type liaoz, hand very itchy leh!!
I just finished a DOTA game with Amos and I totally pwned wahahaha!!
Ok!! My weekend was sooo enjoyable!! I met up with with old pals from my first 3 mths JC class!! I actually forgot about the meeting till Wendy and Irene informed me on friday!! Hahaha! I'm like how blur sia... But nonetheless, both of them kept msging me to remind me and I rushed down to Wheelock Place to meet them after church on saturday!!
They actually waited for me from like 6.30pm sia... actually they were waiting for Irene who was late mah... hahaha! Went to Olio Dome for dinner and i liked the place!! The food was not too bad either! I got myself a seafood pizza which was rather plain since the rest of them each got something and I didn't want to order the same as Irene. She ordered some chicken breast linguine thingy... which she couldn't finish at the end cuz the sauce was too creamy and I ended up finishing it for her hee hee!! Cuz I was like so blooody hungry after church!!
We had a great chat @ Olio Dome!! How everyone's love life is going, meeting new people, going on to work, the problems we will face in the future at workplaces!!! It's so cool to be able to meet up with them like once in a while just to catch up with how one another is doing... I haven't met Irene since Alex's birthday which was in November and it was good to see her again!!
Went off to Haagen Daz after dinner!! MY suggestion cuz I just love the ice cream there!! Walked over to Tangs where Georgina was working there wahahaha!! Said hi to her but didn't say bye cuz she was bz!! Caramel Cone Explosion is a must try flavour if you ever go there!!!
Said our good byes at 11pm when Alex sent us home! Well, 3 out of 4 since Irene had to run some errands @ Clementi!!
Irene msged everyone today and yes, I agreed with her how good it was to meet up with old pals again!! These are a bunch of pals whom you can always rely on whenever you need help and they'll never turn you down!! It's amazing how all my good friends come from PJC, maybe it's the culture there or something...
I wonder why I can't make any good friends in SIM... As in people I meet in SIM... it all seems like "Hi-Bye" friends... Sadz... but well... there are a couple out there whom are worth it to make friends with, however, that's the minority.
Right!! My mom and I went down to Sushi Teh just now for dinner and I had Cha Soba!!! My favorite!! I just love cold noodles but I feel the cold green noodles are the best!! Ate my fav Salmon Sashimi and Unagi! Then my mom couldn't finish her sashimi salad then I gladly finished it up for her hee hee!!
Yeahhhhh.... good food this weekend!! How I wish every weekend could be so carefree but then exams coming liaoz!!! Later gotta study hard liaoz!!
I don't know why but lately the littlest things have been getting to me.
To all my "friends" who don't know me yet, I'm a sensitive guy so you have to understand the way I behave sometimes.
Sorry dear for neglecting you in the past month or so and yes, I'll do my best to get back to being myself and stop making things happen. I've been so blinded sometimes that I do not see the bigger picture. Life is always as such. Just when you thought you have grown older and understood the roots of Life, something else comes along and proves you wrong and you have to start climbing the tree of Life all over again in a new perspective.
I've learned from this lesson greatly and I will be wise from now on. I've been progressing since I entered SIM and I'm glad that I've real friends whom know me and understand me and will forgive me for whatever I do cuz they know that I'm just being plain silly.
Another phase of life has passed for me and I'm glad it's over now and I've understood the lesson and will not make the same mistake again. While I Live I Learn right? (Amos can actually remember this from our PJC motto)
Some happy stuff now: I went for the ODAC Exco Interview on Monday!! Don't know when we'll know whether or not we're in the committee or not but I think everyone should be in cuz like there are only so few of us. I hope we can work together as a team rather than different individuals with their own mindsets and perspectives. I hope there'll be a great change for ODAC this upcoming year and I hope I can make it more exciting!! Hee hee!!
Went to the SOKA Cultural Centre today for a Spring Concert. Natalie was performing in it together with SL's sis and Nat can really play lotsa stuff loh... If you want a video of her singing can ask me I send u!! Shengwen `LIVED @ 10:23 PM
