The moment I woke up this morning I knew that it was going to be a good day.
The first thing I did when I got up was to switch on the radio and the song She will be Loved was playing on the radio!! A wonderful start to the morning I must say! I prayed last nite that the weather today would be perfect and I asked God for a wonderful day and boy did He give it to me! The weather: Perfecto!
So here we are at East Coast Park again! This time we're here for a kayaking trip!! Met up with Shilei, Natalie, Yu Zhong, Desmond, Nixon and Pangwei at Big Splash!! We intended to run in the morning but since the weather was so irresistable and we didn't know how long the good weather would last, we decided to just kayak first and see how later!
The trip went rather well I must say we basically just had fun playing around with the kayaks cuz it has been so long since we last played in the sea water!! OMG!! So fun to be kayaking in the sea again!! We intended to kayak till Gay Beach but due to the great body that Pangwei has, we decided that it would be rather dangerous if he went there!! Wahaha!! So we beached before the beach and played in the water and talked crap as usual!!
I feel so comfortable with this group and the feeling is really good with the people i'm with! There are no barriers whatsoever and everyone is so friendly to every other person!! I hope then I can further build this relationship up with this gang I'm with now! Play play play in the water then we went back to Paddle Culture!
I was duped into going near the guys and all them held on to my kayak and capsized me loh!!!! Kaoz..... Then I had to tow my kayak back all the way to the shore!!! Crapz pple!! But anyway, quite near to the shore lah so still ok!! Then once I emptied my kayak and parked it on the shore it was time for me to make some people capsize!! Hee hee hee!! Had lotsa fun in the water but wished we had more time!! Due to the high cost, we had to finish up by 1.30pm and return the kayaks!
Lunch was at Parkway Parade once again and this time we went to Fish & Co!! Hmm... the last time I went there was with the ODAC exco and I didn't get to eat my fav seafood platter the last time so this time I made sure I got to have it!! And they had my favorite soup: Clam Chowder!!! OMG!! It's my all time favorite soup man!!
Then Melvin called me up during lunch and I was kinda shocked to hear from him after so long!! He was my CQ course mate during Army and he's still serving since he's a regular! So it was great chatting with him and catching up a little!! Hmm... promised to meet up with him for a talk cock session so I must make sure I keep my promise to him.
Okiez! After lunch all of us were practically shagged out and we were just sitting at Spinelli stoning loh... Yu Zhong and Pangwei were like falling asleep loh haha so in the end we all zaoed the place by 4pm!
I totally enjoyed my day today and I can't wait till Saturday when I'll be hanging out with them again hee hee!! So fun to be with them I must say then can tease Nat all the time! Kakaka!! But she's getting smarter now... she even knows my tricks liaoz so time to change some of my tricks kekeke!!
Ok my body is not functioning so well liaoz... Eye lids closing... Need to sleep... tmr still have stats lect in the morning so off to bed I shall go!
